Think of weighting exactly like calculating a student's final grade for a module.

Imagine a module has an Essay and a Presentation. If the Essay is incredibly important, the professor might make it worth 80% of the total grade, and the Presentation worth 20%.

Step 1: Setting the Allocation (100%)
The sliders map out exactly 100%. As you push one up, the tool automatically pulls the others down. This perfectly balances the importance of each Core Skill.

Step 2: Calculating the Student's "Pill"
When a student searches a job, the government API gives them a score out of 5 for each Core Skill. We take those scores and multiply them by your percentages to get their final SPARK score!

Step 3: The Final Result
Because our pills operate on whole numbers, we standard round the result. So a 4.4 rounds down to a 4, meaning the student receives an Orange HIGH IMPORTANCE pill for that SPARK attribute!
